Dear Scientists,
The 19th International Symposium of the Educational Community, which is part of Saybilder Symposium Days, will be held in Antalya from November 4–8, 2025.
The symposium will be organized with the academic support of Mardin Artuklu University (Türkiye) and ISTEUB (University of Carthage – Tunisia).
The main venue of the symposium is the Porto Bello Hotel Resort & Spa (Antalya/Türkiye).
It is possible to participate in the symposium either by submitting an oral paper or simply by attending as a listener. Those who wish to present an oral paper must apply with either a 250–300 word abstract or a proceeding that does not exceed 10,000 words. Listeners are not required to submit any application.
The abstracts of presentations submitted for an oral paper must not have been previously presented at any event.
Presentation submissions must align with the content of the symposium, have a similarity index of no more than 20%, and be prepared in accordance with the paper writing guidelines. Additionally, each submission must include an abstract in English.
All submitted presentations will first be checked for similarity using Turnitin and iThenticate. Those with an acceptable similarity index will be sent to at least two field experts for review. Presentation papers that do not receive approval from both reviewers will be rejected.
The final list of papers to be presented at the symposium will be incorporated into the program upon approval by the Scientific and Organizing Committees. Therefore, please carefully review the terms of participation before submitting your texts.
Once the abstracts submitted for participation are accepted, the corresponding texts will be published in the Symposium Abstracts book—with an ISBN—in accordance with the symposium schedule.
In addition to the information on the public website, the symposium announcement has been sent by email to academicians in 10 different countries.
To elevate the international scientific debate and interaction in the fields of education, invited keynote speakers who are experts in their fields from 5 different countries have been invited.
The symposium will feature both face-to-face and online presentations. It is very important that the scientists who submit their abstracts also indicate their preferred presentation type so that the program can be efficiently organized.
It is highly valuable for scientists who cannot participate as oral presenters or listeners to join the evaluation committee and review the submitted abstracts. Therefore, scientists who have not been reached by the organizing committee are encouraged to apply for a reviewer position by sending their CVs through the symposium communication channels.
The full texts of the papers presented at the 19th International Symposium of the Educational Community will be published in an ISBN-assigned book with a DOI number. However, researchers are not obligated to submit full texts.
The symposium is being organized with due consideration of the academic appointment and promotion criteria of, primarily, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, the Gulf Countries, Iraq, and Türkiye. For the success of the symposium, we invite you to contribute as reviewers, researchers, or listeners and to share our announcements with your colleagues in order to raise awareness and disseminate information on sustainable development science or space.
Sincerely,
The Organizing Committee

5. A participation certificate will be issued for all authors listed in the paper.
6. No certificate will be issued for papers that are not presented. Researchers must present either face-to-face or online in order to receive a certificate.
7. Compliance with the symposium participation guidelines and submission deadlines is required.
8. Participation in the symposium is possible only by giving an oral presentation or as an audience member. No fee is charged for audience members.
9. All abstracts and full texts submitted to the symposium must not have been previously published anywhere.
10. All abstracts and full texts submitted to the symposium must be prepared in accordance with the writing guidelines and must include an English abstract.
11. It is possible to make a presentation in Arabic, French, English or Turkish.
12. The similarity rate of all abstracts and full texts submitted to the symposium will be checked using Turnitin or iThenticate. The similarity rate for a presentation may be at most 20%.
13. All abstracts and full texts submitted to the symposium will be accepted with the approval of the reviewers and the evaluation board. Papers that do not receive approval from at least two reviewers will be definitively rejected.
14. The paper abstracts and full texts will undergo a blind review process. The review process is conducted through the system or via email for reviewers who cannot log into the system.
15. The acceptance process for a presentation is as follows:
Submission and Initial Check: Authors submit their presentations through the symposium’s online system or via the provided email address. The secretary (assistant editor) checks the presentation for its alignment with the symposium scope, compliance with basic formatting rules, and similarity rate. If the paper is deemed unsuitable at this stage, it may be rejected or a revision may be requested. The secretary (assistant editor) does not conduct a content review, but evaluates only the format.
Reviewer Assignment and Evaluation Process: The paper is sent to two expert reviewers in the field. The reviewers evaluate the scientific content, methodology, reliability of the results, and contribution to the literature of the paper. They then prepare a report outlining their opinions. During this process, the identities of the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
Decision by the Editorial Board Chair: The symposium editor serves as the Chair of the Editorial Board. Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor decides whether to accept the paper, request revisions (minor or major), or reject it.
Revision and Resubmission: If revisions are requested, the authors revise the paper in response to the reviewers’ comments. The revised paper is generally resubmitted to the reviewers for further evaluation.
Final Evaluation and Acceptance: After the revision process, the Editorial Board Chair (editor) reviews the changes made. When the paper meets all the required criteria, an acceptance and invitation letter is issued to the authors.
Program Preparation and Publication Process: The accepted paper is forwarded to the Editorial Board Members responsible for preparing the symposium program and publishing the abstract books. The board member in charge of program preparation schedules an appropriate time slot and room for the paper’s presentation. The board member responsible for publication handles the layout of the text and places it in the designated section.
16. Objection and Re-evaluation Request
17. Scientific Ethics and Publication Principles
At least one professor officially appointed by partner universities ensures that the symposium is organized in accordance with scientific ethics and publication principles. Researchers are obliged to adhere to international scientific ethics and publication principles. Authors are responsible for any unethical behaviour detected during or after the symposium.

presentation and all other legal matters rests with the researchers listed on
the paper.
