SAYBİLDER CONGRESS DAYS

Main Page

Dear Scientists,

The 7th International Congress on Sustainable Development and Space, which is part of Saybilder Congress Days, will be held in Antalya from November 4–8, 2025.

The congress will be organized with the academic support of Mardin Artuklu University (Türkiye) and ISTEUB (University of Carthage – Tunisia).

The main venue of the congress is the Porto Bello Hotel Resort & Spa (Antalya/Türkiye).

It is possible to participate in the congress either by submitting an oral paper or simply by attending as a listener. Those who wish to present an oral paper must apply with either a 250–300 word abstract or a proceeding that does not exceed 10,000 words. Listeners are not required to submit any application.

The abstracts of presentations submitted for an oral paper must not have been previously presented at any event.

Presentation submissions must align with the content of the congress, have a similarity index of no more than 20%, and be prepared in accordance with the paper writing guidelines. Additionally, each submission must include an abstract in English.

All submitted presentations will first be checked for similarity using Turnitin and iThenticate. Those with an acceptable similarity index will be sent to at least two field experts for review. Presentation papers that do not receive approval from both reviewers will be rejected.

The final list of papers to be presented at the congress will be incorporated into the program upon approval by the Scientific and Organizing Committees. Please download the guidelines detailing the points to be observed by the Scientific (Reviewers) and Organizing (Administrators) Committees.

Once the abstracts submitted for participation are accepted, the corresponding texts will be published in the Congress Abstracts book—with an ISBN—in accordance with the congress schedule.

In addition to the information on the public website, the congress announcement has been sent by email to academicians in 10 different countries.

To elevate the international scientific debate and interaction in the fields of Sustainable Development and Space, invited keynote speakers who are experts in their fields from 5 different countries have been invited.

The congress will feature both face-to-face and online presentations. It is very important that the scientists who submit their abstracts also indicate their preferred presentation type so that the program can be efficiently organized.

It is highly valuable for scientists who cannot participate as oral presenters or listeners to join the evaluation committee and review the submitted abstracts. Therefore, scientists who have not been reached by the organizing committee are encouraged to apply for a reviewer position by sending their CVs through the congress communication channels.

The full texts of the papers presented at the 7th International Congress on Sustainable Development and Space will be published in an ISBN-assigned book with a DOI number. However, researchers are not obligated to submit full texts.

The congress is being organized with due consideration of the academic appointment and promotion criteria of, primarily, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, the Gulf Countries, Iraq, and Türkiye. For the success of the congress, we invite you to contribute as reviewers, researchers, or listeners and to share our announcements with your colleagues in order to raise awareness and disseminate information on sustainable development science or space.

Sincerely,
The Organizing Committee

Terms of Participation

1.    The online participation fee for the congress is 1000 TL. Regardless of the number of authors, only one of the individuals listed in the paper needs to pay the registration fee.

2.    The participation fee for in-person presentations at the congress is 350 Euros. This fee includes a three-day, all-inclusive stay for one person in a double room.

3.    Participation certificates will be issued to all authors listed in the paper.

4.    Participants must comply with the congress participation guidelines and submission deadlines.

5.    Participation in the congress is only possible through oral presentations or as an audience member. There is no option for poster presentations or special events.

6.    All submitted abstracts and full papers will be accepted based on the approval of the review and evaluation committee. Papers that do not receive approval from at least two reviewers will be rejected.

7.    The acceptance and rejection process for oral presentation submissions consists of the following stages: Submission and Initial Review, Reviewer Assignment and Evaluation Process, Decision of the Editorial Board, Final Evaluation, and Preparation of the Invitation Letter.

o  Submission and Initial Review: Authors submit their presentations via the congress’s online system or email. The secretary (assistant editor) checks the submission for its relevance to the scope of the congress, adherence to basic writing rules, and similarity rate. If the paper is deemed unsuitable at this stage, it may be rejected or sent back for revision. The secretary (assistant editor) does not review the content but only evaluates the format.

o  Reviewer Assignment and Evaluation Process: The paper is sent to two experts in the relevant field. The reviewers evaluate the scientific content, methodology, reliability of the results, and contribution to the literature. They prepare a report based on their evaluation. During this process, the identities of the authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

o  Decision of the Editorial Board Chair: The congress editor, who is the Chair of the Editorial Board, makes a decision based on the reviewer reports. The editor may accept the paper, request minor or major revisions, or reject it.

o  Revision and Resubmission: If a revision is requested, authors must make changes in response to the reviewers’ comments. If major revisions are made, the revised paper is sent back to the reviewers for further evaluation. Minor revisions do not go through the reviewer process again but are approved by the editor.

o  Final Evaluation and Preparation of the Invitation Letter: After the revision process, the Chair of the Editorial Board (editor) evaluates the corrections. Once all criteria are met, an acceptance and invitation letter is sent to the authors.

8.    Program Preparation and Publication Process: Accepted papers are shared with the Editorial Board members responsible for preparing the congress program and publishing abstract books. The board member responsible for scheduling assigns an appropriate time slot and venue for the presentation. The board member in charge of publication formats the text and places it in the appropriate section.

9.    Researchers may submit their full papers by the final deadline specified in the congress schedule. Full papers will be published as an electronic book with an ISBN.

10.Scientific processes and personal rights are carefully observed at every stage of the congress process. Participants’ objections and requests are given maximum attention from the submission stage to the publication of full papers. Participants must clearly express their objections via email to the congress secretariat. The secretariat shares the received emails with the Chair of the Editorial Board. If an error has been made by the congress, it is immediately corrected by the Chair of the Editorial Board. Scientific errors are referred to experts, and decisions are made based on their recommendations. No scientific process can be skipped, and no participant can be disadvantaged.

11.The congress is conducted in accordance with international scientific ethics and publishing principles. At least one professor officially appointed by partner universities is responsible for overseeing compliance with these principles. All participants and organizers of the congress are obliged to adhere to international scientific ethics and publication principles. Authors are individually responsible for any unethical behaviour detected during or after the congress.
